Precision Kidd to Display at G-20 Trade Expo

Pittsburgh, PA, September 17, 2009 — Precision Kidd Steel Company, Aliquippa, PA. a leading manufacturer of specialized cold drawn steel bar, wire and profile shapes, is one of 35 local companies that have been invited to participate in the G-20 Trade Expo on Tuesday, September 22. The Trade Expo is open to foreign delegations, primarily members of the G-20 countries, including their consulates and the international press. The Trade Expo is being held in conjunction with the G-20 Economic Summit scheduled in Pittsburgh on September 24-25. Company exhibits are planned for three locations. Precision Kidd will exhibit at: The Allegheny, 401 West Commons location from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The event is being co-sponsored by State Representative Jake Wheatley, Jr. and the Duquesne University Small Business Development Center. The purpose of the Expo is to introduce members of visiting consulates to companies from the Pittsburgh region who have an interest in exporting. Precision Kidd is seeking to broaden its understanding of the machining and parts manufacturing requirements in these countries and to gain insight into the potential market opportunities for Precision Kidd’s custom-designed, cost-saving steel bar and wire products.

It is anticipated that the Trade Expo will help foster relationships that will lead to the expansion of Precision Kidd’s current overseas trading activities.
